Why We Play

More Than a Golf Tournament

The Shepherd's Cup is a season of gathering — three events that bring together the Old St. Patrick's community and friends for fellowship, friendly competition, and a shared purpose. Every dollar raised goes directly to supporting the ministries and preservation of one of New York City's most treasured parishes, the Mother Church of the Archdiocese of New York.

Gather with fellow parishioners and golf lovers for the final round of The Masters. Great food, cold drinks, and all the drama of Augusta on the big screen. No golf skill required — just good company.

Swing into summer at Five Iron Golf. An evening of simulator golf, drinks, and friendly competition to sharpen your game before The Cup. All skill levels welcome — beginners especially.

The main event. 18 holes of championship golf at the historic Westchester Hills, followed by an awards dinner and celebration. All proceeds support Old St. Patrick's Basilica and its mission.

A Donald Ross–inspired gem in the heart of White Plains. Founded in 1913, Westchester Hills features tree-lined fairways, rolling hills, and contoured greens — recently redesigned by the renowned Rees Jones.

Join us at the Masters Watch Party on April 12th or the Five Iron Social on June 18th — or both.

Attending at least one qualifying event secures your eligibility to play in The Cup.
